Toorak project has fashionable pedigree linked to KITX founder Kit Willow


A Toorak development drawn up for one of Melbourne’s most coveted streets has the nod from the property’s fashionable and artistic former residents.

The Edition project by Samuel Property, set to be built at 65 Lansell Rd, will replace the long-term family home of Noel Lane — mother of artist Jo Lane, and grandmother to sustainable fashion leader Kit Willow — after a $5.65 million off-market deal early in 2017.

Now aged 102, Noel Lane had lived at No. 65 since the 1950s — and was about 100 years old when the deal was done.
